Traditions
Before Jack and Celina head to California to go visit their dad, I take them to the Aquarium here in New Orleans.
It is sorta like a tradition we have going on. They still enjoy going and I enjoy going too. And now that Peyton is a lil bit older, he really enjoyed playing with all the neat stuff they have for the kids to play on. He really enjoyed the shark tank, he thought they were just the funniest thing he has ever seen. I think Celina and Jack enjoyed it this time around more because of Peyton. They liked watching him play and be “wowed” by everything. Although, Jack really enjoyed the Stingray petting area. Dont worry, they took off the stingers at the end of their tails. I wonder if they brought that out to show everyone that they are ok and not vicious sea creatures that everyone thinks they are in light of Steve Irwin.
We also met up with some friends for the first time. Chris and Jennifer H and their lil ones. It was very nice to finally put faces to some names. Their daughter was super cute with all her curly lil hair! And their son was so well mannered even though he is only 1! It was great meeting yall!!
We dont have many traditions in our family. I guess it is because we arent the “traditional” family. We have several routines within the family but as far as traditions go, we dont have many.
What traditions do you have for yourself and with the family? What would you like to start?
I took the kids to the Aquarium of the Americas.
Doesnt Jack look entirely way too tanned? Almost looks unnatural. LOL
