I read Chloe’s A-Z About Me post over on her blog, Rainbows & Honeysuckle. Since I’ve been procrastinating on getting this blog up and running, I thought it would be a good first post for this blog. So here goes:

First off, this is me:

A – Available or married?
I am currently in a relationship with the most wonderful guy I could have ever imagined.

B- Book?
Right now I’m about 40% through Susan Cain’s Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can’t Stop Talking. (You can stay up to date with what I’m reading by following me Goodreads)

C- Cake or Pie?
I prefer cake usually, but I’m a sucker for a good apple or pumpkin pie every once in a while.

D- Drink of Choice?
Water or either green tea or iced tea. I do splurge on the occasional coffee on the weekends or an energy drink at work.

E- Essential Item?
This one’s a toss up between my phone or my laptop. I use both equally I think.

F- Favorite Color?
I LOVE pink, but teal is a close second. Depends on which mood I’m in I guess.

G- Game to play or watch?
I’m a Washington Capitals fan so I enjoy watching hockey. (and football too. I’m hoping the Ravens do well in the Superbowl.^_^)

H- Hometown?
I grew up in Arbutus, MD. I haven’t strayed too far from there.

I- Indulgence?
*Geek moment alert* I love office supplies. Post-it notes, planners, pens, you name it, I probably have a ton. I’m trying to cut back on my spending this year and use what I have though.

J- Job?
I work for a university’s Technology Support Center as the person in charge of recruiting and managing students and the day to day operations in the office.

K- Kids and names?
I don’t have any kids currently.

L- Life is incomplete without?
I’d be pretty bummed without my cats and dogs. They are just so goofy and lovable.

M- Music group or singer?
I’ve never had a particular favorite, even as a kid. I listen to a very eclectic range of music though so it’s hard to pick just one.

N- Number of siblings?
I’m an only child.

O- Oranges or apples?
Not a big fan of peeling oranges so I’m going to have to go with Apples.

P- Phobias/Fears?
You know those stairs that you can see through? Like the ones below… Yeah, they terrify me. I always have these images of my feet slipping through them.

Q- Favorite Quote?
Right now, this is my quote for the month:

R- Reason to Smile?
I’m alive. (and it’s supposed to hit almost 70 degrees today… in January!)

S- Season?
Late spring. It’s just warm enough and so colorful.

T- Tattoos?
I’m planning on getting stars tattooed on the top of my foot and a heart on the underside of my left wrist.

U- Unknown fact about me?
I have a secret obsession with Filofaxes that almost none of my friends know about.

V- Vegetable you love?
I’m a pretty big fan of all vegetables, but broccoli is my favorite.

W- Worst habit?
I fumble with my hair a lot. Split ends drive me crazy.

X- X-Rays you’ve had?
Only dental x-rays.

Y- Your favorite food?
Steamed crabs, cream of crab soup, and basically anything covered in Old Bay!

Z- Zodiac
